KZN enterprise programme brings improved delivery services
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
A business expert feels Durban is already demonstrating that it's ready to welcome the fourth industrial revolution.
Desikan Naidoo from the Wits Business School says the pressure on business and government today means the ability to deliver is non-negotiable.
He says the pace of conducting business is on the rise.
Naidoo had been speaking at the launch of Wits University's Enterprise and Wits Business School programmes focusing on KZN.

The partnership with the provincial government is geared towards helping KZN become the gateway to Africa.
"The reality is that Durban has already started embarking on and working in the fourth industrial revolution. You have a clearing house - that clears a container from a ship. The truck moves on his own to a clearing point. Sars comes in and clears it.
"You as the end user already know what's going on with your container, has it been damaged and what sort of amounts need to be debited from your account. With an interconnected system - this can all take place. The next thing you know is that the container is delivered to your house," Naidoo said.
