Govt, Wits team up in KZN development plan
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The KwaZulu-Natal government has announced a partnership aimed at equipping public servants with business skills to help grow investment to the province.

The partnership with the University of the Witwatersrand's Enterprise and Wits Business School was launched in Durban this morning.
Co-operative Governance MEC, Nomusa Dube-Ncube says the institution will spearhead a number of public and private sector projects, geared towards accelerating government's plans around the oceans economy and fourth industrial revolution - among other things.
"Our growth and development plan in KwaZulu-Natal articulates that by 2035, KZN will be a prosperous province with a healthy, secure and skilled population acting as a gateway to Africa and the world. The lack of appropriate industry skills could [threaten] this ambitious development strategy that we have," Dube-Ncube said.
