KZN Education sets 80% pass rate target for class of 2022

Matrics are currently in the middle of their trials, in preparation for the finals.
Education MEC Mbali Frazer attended NAPTOSA's KZN School Managers Conference in Durban on Friday.
She's told delegates that while a 100% pass rate is ideal, the reality is many pupils study under difficult circumstances.

"But again, I must mention it can't be correct that schools are charged as if it is a mall. You can't have a school, but you expect them to pay for water and lights as if it is a mall."
