KZN Education MEC confident in matrics

Education MEC, Kwazi Mshengu says this year's National Senior Certificate examinations, are off to a good start in KZN.

Matrics, across the country, began writing their first exam, English Paper 1, this morning.
Mshengu's at Nyonithwele Secondary School in uMgungundlovu, where Grade 12s had their temperatures checked and hands sanitised before they made their way to their exam venues.
And with over five weeks of writing left, the MEC says he's confident all will go well.

Teachers have indicated that they have worked hard to prepare for these learners.
So I'm quite confident that we'll get better results in the schools and in most if not all schools in the province of KwaZulu-Natal because the interventions that we have had to make have actually been carried through the entire province.
The MEC says he is happy and confident that we will be able to get better results.
