KZN Education awaits feedback in alleged school racism case
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
KZN Education says racism shouldn't continue in schools - even after decades of democracy.

The department's due to receive feedback from officials who were called to Grosvenor Girls' High last week, after some parents said their children were discriminated against.
"If there is any wrongdoing happening there - it implicates us as the Department of Education," Education's Muzi Mahlambi said.
Angry parents wrote to the department accusing the school's management of racism.
They say black Grade 10 pupils aren’t allowed to take pure Maths and Physics as subjects and have been told to pay R3 each for free government-issued sanitary pads.
"It's our duty and our responsibility to assist our schools in terms of getting them into educational and awareness programmes," he said.
