The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education is probing claims of racism levelled against teachers and management at Grosvenor Girls’ High School on the Bluff, south of Durban.

A high-level delegation of departmental officials met with stakeholders at the school this morning.
This after angry parents penned a letter to MEC Mthandeni Dlungwana, laying bare their grievances.
These include allegations that one teacher often tells black pupils to go to the townships to study cooking and baking, because they will never make it in life.
Departmental spokesperson, Kwazi Mthethwa described the meeting as being 'intense'.
