KZN Correctional Services rocked by another sex scandal
Correctional Services is probing yet another prison sex scandal at a KZN facility.
A senior official has been suspended following allegations he had an affair with an inmate at the Westville Female Correctional Centre in Durban.
The department's KZN spokesperson, Thulani Mdluli says the official and the offender were allegedly caught in the act in a conference room earlier this month.
"At this point in time, it is safe to say that our internal department investigation is underway. "

It is must be clear if this allegation implicates any official, therefore, that is a serious disciplinary action taken against the officials because the department of code of conduct is against any improper and disgraceful manner by officials." adds Mdluli.
Two Correctional Services officials were recently fired after a video emerged showing one of them having sex with an inmate at the Ncome Correctional Centre in the province.
