KZN cop in trouble for using state vehicle on shopping trip

A Durban police officer is in hot water after he was caught on camera using a state vehicle for shopping.

National police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says an internal investigation's been launched against the sergeant for the misuse of the vehicle.
It's after a video emerged showing the on-duty cop buying grain.

"The SAPS view such action in a serious light and shows members of the public that state resources, such as police vehicles, are there to show optical running and functioning of this service and to service our communities."
