The case against the Estcourt cannibalism-accused has been postponed by two weeks for a possible bail application.
The men were joined by a seventh accused in the dock whom police say was arrested in the early hours of this morning.
The suspects were rounded up after one of the men apparently went to the police to confess to their crimes.
The seven accused walked into the dock with their faces covered.
Magistrate Arti Sookraj began today's proceedings by informing accused number 7, Sazi Ndlovu that he would face the same charges as his six co-accused.
