With next year's general elections just around the corner, the party says it will ensure all processes are carried out fairly.
The party's Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu says they're looking for a skilled and experienced delegation.
"It's part of our democratic centralism that branches are given an opportunity to decide for themselves who goes and represents them in the Legislature and Parliament. Branches have a right to nominate anyone they want amongst themselves or from another branch. As we always say - a branch is the nucleus of the ANC. Therefore, it is very important for that structure to have a voice," Simelane-Zulu said.
