Referring to a recent incident in which US President Donald Trump tweeted on South Africa's land issue, the party's Mdumiseni Ntuli said our country will never be bullied into doing anything that's not in its own interests.

Trump tweeted that he's asked the US Secretary of State to keep an eye on land and farm seizures with reference to what he's called the large-scale killing of farmers in South Africa.

Ntuli had been briefing the media on recent political developments in Durban yesterday.

"Our country has the responsibility to determine its own agenda and take decisions that are in the best interests of our people. None of the countries in the world should appropriate to themselves a responsibility irrespective of their size to want to determine what South Africa can and cannot do in its own national agenda," Ntuli said.
