KZN on alert for possible heavy downpours

KZN's disaster management teams are working closely with the SA Weather Service to detect severe thunderstorms.
They've
been monitoring weather patterns following alerts for heavy downpours, a cold
front and snowfall expected in parts of the country on Thursday.
Forecasters say strong winds and storms are due to roll into KZN, Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo tomorrow.

Cooperative Governance Department officials are urging residents in KwaZulu Natal, still recovering from April's devastating floods, to remain cautious.
They've issued a warning for people living in low lying areas, that were submerged last month, asking them to be on high alert.
