A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with the recent KwaNdengezi murders, near Pinetown.
The bodies of four men - with gunshot wounds - were found at a school's sports ground over a week ago.
The police's Jay Naicker says the men, believed to have been victims of mob justice, were accused of being stock thieves. They were aged between 17 and 24.
"An intelligence-driven operation was conducted by detectives from the provincial organised crime unit at KwaNdengezi. A 47-year-old suspect was arrested and he was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm with 22 rounds of ammunition."
