KwaDukuza Municipality is set to unveil the first ever building named after a woman in the area tomorrow.

She was the wife of Africa's first Nobel Prize Laureate, Chief Albert Luthuli.

The municipality's Sipho Mkhize says it was members of the public that felt she deserved the recognition.
"We went through a public participation process and we are very excited that a woman's name was chosen. It's a first for us in KwaDukuza Municipality. We cannot express our happiness enough rather than to say it was fitting that it be Mam' Nokukhanya Luthuli," Mkhize said.
