Kranskop woman found with rifles, arrested

KwaZulu-Natal police have arrested a woman after she was found with five unlicensed rifles in Kranskop.

Her arrest came as a result of an operation involving members of the Brighton Beach Crime Intelligence Unit, PSS K9 and Umhlali K9 Units in the area this morning.
They'd received a tip-off about illegal firearms. While searching a house in the area - they found two 303 rifles, an AK47 rifle, a mauser rifle and a shotgun inside.
The 38-year-old woman is due to appear in the Kranskop Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
