Killing of local leaders a 'worrying trend': KZN ANC
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
The ANC in KZN is asking the Police Minister to intervene after the murder of another local leader who it believes had been targeted in a politically-motivated attack.

Thulani Nxumalo - eThekwini's Ward 12 Chairperson - was shot outside his home in KwaNdengezi, west of Durban, on Monday night.
He'd attended a branch EXCO meeting earlier.
The party's Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu says they met with Nxumalo's family yesterday to make arrangements for his funeral.
"We will have a memorial service and we will also be part of the funeral and the planning. We are really hoping that at some point - something is going to be done to stop these killings as it's clearly becoming a worrying trend for the province," she said.
