Khoza argues Zuma comments made outside KZN jurisdiction
Updated | By Puseletso Petersen
The ANC in KZN has condemned the latest public post on social media by outspoken MP, Makhosi Khoza.
She posted a letter she's sent to Human Settlements MEC, Ravi Pillay, on Facebook yesterday.
She questioned whether the party's provincial branch has jurisdiction to take her to task over her posts criticising senior ANC leaders.
She says her plea for President Jacob Zuma to step down was made at a public forum in Johannesburg.
The ANC’s provincial spokesperson, Mdumiseni Ntuli says the matter should be internally discussed.
Ntuli says party members must refrain from discussing internal issues in public.
"On a public domain, it does project the ANC and ANC members as people who are willing to do anything possible to deal with each other," he says.
Khoza will appear before a provincial disciplinary committee in September on charges of ill-discipline.
