The party's Super Zuma has confirmed  this, saying Khoza has 14 days to appear before the Provincial Disciplinary Committee.

"She received her charges as they were sent to her yesterday evening. She confirmed this morning that she did receive the charge sheet. As to the exact charges, I don't think it is for public consumption. I can confirm that there are charges related to her contravening the ANC constitution and the policies of the ANC," he said.

Khoza has openly criticised some of the party's recent decisions around President Jacob Zuma and has also publicly called for the president to resign.

Meanwhile, spokesperson for Parliament - Moloto Mothapo says they are ready to activate protection services for Khoza but that she has yet to respond to them.

"Parliament is ready with security following the request that was made by Dr. Khoza and the ANC Chief Whip - as soon as she says we can go ahead. On Friday, she told us that she needs to confer with her family and she will come back to us by the end of the week. She has not come back to us," he said.
