The eThekwini Municipality has commended the police and prosecutors involved in the investigation into the murder of Ward 103 councillor Minenhle Mkhize.

She says Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda's pleased with the outcome of the case.
"He extended his gratitude to the courts to ensure that justice is served. Mayor Kaunda also commended the police for ensuring a watertight case resulting in a successful prosecution of the accused."
Meanwhile, the case into the murder of Ward 99 councillor Mnqobi Molefe who was killed last year, is ongoing.
