Kaunda pleads for patience amid water interruptions across Durban

eThekwini Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda is pleading for patience from communities affected by water disruptions.

The City has blamed loadshedding for some of the supply problems experienced this week.
Kaunda says technicians have been working day and night to get clean water running through the taps in affected areas.

He's been visiting reservoirs and other water infrastructure around the city.
"Our pumps in certain pump stations have not been working, but we have fixed those challenges.
"We dedicated a day yesterday and today firstly to have meetings to resolve of the outstanding challenges today we are conducting visitations to reservoirs - the big ones - to ascertain that these pumps are working in a manner that is envisaged."
