Sergeant Collin Chetty has been speaking to Newswatch as police await the results of DNA tests.

They confirmed yesterday that DNA samples were taken from the family of missing Durban boy, Miguel Louw.

Chetty and two other officers were led to the body by 3-year-old police dog, Ghost on Monday.

They were hot on the heels of suspected robbers who had held up a store. Ghost then detoured from the route.

At the time, police confirmed that the body was that of a little boy in school uniform.

46-year-old, Chetty says finding people is a day-to-day part of their job.

"More so for me and my dog was to perform the task. I've been serving the K9 Unit from 2007 until now. We have done a lot of cases and it doesn't look nice. The normal man on the street would not do this job. It takes a lot. Missing persons is some of the most common cases," he said.
