#JusticeForBobo: Magagula Lounge set alight
Updated | By Newswatch
The popular Magagula Lounge tavern in Tongaat has been set alight by angry locals after the body of a missing teenager was found dumped in a nearby river.

It is suspected the body is that of 16 year old Andile 'Bobo' Mbuthu who had been missing for about 2 weeks. It is alleged he was being held at Magagula Lounge where he was allegedly beaten up to a pulp for allegedly trying to steal alcohol.

A video showing the helpless boy struggling to breath and sit up right while lying in a pool of blood with a male behind the camera shouting at him to get and clean his mess has been circulated on social media under the Hashtags Justice For Bobo and Magagula Lounge.
The identity of the body is still to be officially confirmed.
Following that incident 6 people were taken in for questioning. SAPS spokesperson Jay Naicker says angry locals struck last night - setting the premises alight.
"It is alleged that last night about 500 locals from Hambanathi gathered at a tavern in the area. Officers from Tongaat as well as those from Public Order Policing Unit attended to the incident", he said.
"Two fire brigades responded, however, the community stoned their vehicles and had to leave the scene", Naicker said.
"Public Order Police Unit had to disperse the group. No arrests have been made", he said.
"Police are investigating a case of arson", Naicker said.
