‘This is just the beginning’ - public servants warn govt at Durban march
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Civil servants are moved through Durban central on Tuesday in another march they hope will get government to accede to their wage demands.
Tuesday's demonstration is part of a nationwide day of action called by trade union federation leaders last week.
The Public Servants Association's KZN manager Mlungisi Ndlovu says they're dealing with a government that's not for the people.
"We are dealing with a government who is very arrogant. As workers we are mobilising."

"This is just the beginning of the wars that is coming, because we are saying governemnt on listens to language of violence when it is a peaceful march, they fail to respond.
"We are saying to President Cyril Ramaphosa since you have come to power as the president of the Republic of South Africa, you have failed to recognise public servants."
