Jewellery robbers hold up staff at Galleria Mall
Jewellery thieves have been at it again this weekend, brazenly targeting another store at a KZN mall.
Police have confirmed that the Natal Wholesale Jewelers store at Galleria Mall in Amanzimtoti was robbed yesterday.
Police spokesperson, Tembekha Mbhele says two suspects entered the shop and held up employees before taking some jewelry.
"We are not aware of how much the jewellery cost but there were no shots fired and no injuries reported. One suspect was armed with a firearm, the other one was not armed. The case is still under investigation by the Amanzimtoti police station.
Earlier this month, a cellphone store at Galleria Mall was targeted by around eight robbers who made off with cellphone devices.
