Jacques Pauw's lawyer demands details of police probe

Jacques Pauw's lawyer says if they aren't given the guarantees they have requested from KZN police, today's meeting with them won't go ahead.
He's asked police to fully disclose the nature of their investigation against the veteran journalist as well as a News24 investigative reporter.

, say they won't go ahead with the meeting unless officers give them the assurance that they won't be arrested.Their lawyers have written to police saying they should instead inform them in writing if and when they're expected in court.
Their court appearance will be facilitated by the offices of the pair's lawyers.

Police have been given until midday to respond to the journalists' demands.
Both Pauw and Myburgh have written extensively about alleged corrupt relationships and dealings involving President, Jacob Zuma.
Pauw's controversial book, "The President's Keepers," alleges that Zuma's been protected by people within various State agencies - including the Hawks and NPA.
