KZN police are yet to comment after summoning author, Jacques Pauw to the Durban North Police Station.
Pauw has penned the controversial book, The President's Keepers.
His lawyer, Willem De Klerk yesterday confirmed that the veteran journalist was told to go to the station. He says no further details were given.
"We are at the moment in discussion with the police about possibly arranging such a meeting. We will have to take it from there," he says.
