Investigations into Midlands plane crash underway

The South African Civil Aviation Authority has launched its investigations into yesterday's plane crash in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
A light aircraft, understood to be a crop sprayer, crashed on a hilltop at Dargle Valley farm.
"The process of establishing the possible cause of the crash has started," he confirmed.
Members of the public have been urged not to interfere with the crash site.
"Civil aviation regulations prohibit interference with accident scenes. Emergency service personnel are obviously allowed to access the scene to assist those who might need medical assistance," said Ledwaba.
The pilot was critically injured and was airlifted to a hospital in Pietermaritzburg after an hours-long operation to remove him from the wreckage.
