A criminal expert has weighed in on the case of slain Amazimtoti pastor Liezel de Jager.
Her husband, Werner de Jager, was back in court on Monday.
The court heard that two months before De Jager was strangled to death, her will was changed, making her partner Werner de Jager the sole beneficiary.
It's alleged that he allegedly attempted to cash out some policies.
He now faces charges of fraud and premeditated murder.
Liezel was a Pastor at the NG Kerk Suidkus.

“Fortunately, many, if not most of them are caught because one of the first things we want to look at is somebody that is in a family, the closest family members and then also what is the financial situation."
