Increase in fuel prices on the cards in February
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The prices of petrol and diesel might go up next month, according to data shared by the Automobile Association.

The AA says, based on unaudited data from the Central Energy Fund, all fuel grades might cost a little more.
The exception will be illuminating paraffin.
Consumers can expect a slight increase of between R0.11 and R0.14 a litre for petrol.
Diesel could go up by R0.09 cents a litre.

The cost of illuminating paraffin shows a slight drop of around R0.03 cents a litre.
The AA says the weaker rand to US dollar exchange rate is contributing to most of the expected increases in fuel.
