IEC not expecting any political violence on August 3

Provincial Electoral Officer Mawethu Mosery has been speaking at the ICC, where he was launching the province’s results operation centre.
Mosery says while there are areas in KZN that they are concerned about, those concerns are not of a political nature.
"Given the outlined political environment we are fairly comfortable that we will hold a peaceful election on Wednesday.
"Working with our security agencies, we will continue to ensure that voters are comfortable to go out and vote on election day and there isn't any reason to fear," he said.
Mosery says they’ve been closely monitoring the political environment and are satisfied with the work done by the police and National Prosecuting Authority in dealing with all election matters.
