Icy weather, thundershowers across KZN this weekend: SA Weather Service

KwaZulu-Natal residents will need to brace themselves for a cold and wet weekend ahead.
The South African Weather Services says icy conditions are being forecast across the province.
Weather forecaster Wiseman Dlamini says there's a 60% chance of showers and thundershowers from Friday.
"From tomorrow [Friday], it's going to be 60% into the weekend. We are also expecting 60% showers and thundershowers.
"The rain is expected throughout the province of KZN starting from tomorrow into the weekend."

He says areas over the Drakensburg region, Underberg and Giant's Castle will experience the coldest minimum temperatures.
"The temperatures are going to be cold for the upcoming few days for most parts of the province."
"The minimum temperature might be below 10 degrees."
He says the conditions will remain the same until Monday.
