"I don't share or support Zille's views": Maimane
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
DA leader Mmusi Maimane has again stressed that neither he nor the party share the views of the party's former leader, Helen Zille - on colonialism.
On Friday, Zille tweeted: For those claiming legacy of colonialism was ONLY negative, think of our independent judiciary, transport infrastructure, piped water etc."
The tweet sparked an outcry - with the Western Cape Premier later apologising.

Speaking in Pietermaritzburg today, Maimane said the DA has been guided by the 1994 pact of non-racialism - adding their stance is clear.
Zille is expected to face the DA's federal legal commission soon - to establish whether she has transgressed the party's social media policy.
