Hunt for suspects after man killed in Mpumalanga home

KwaZulu-Natal police have launched a manhunt for those involved in the murder of a man killed at a home in Mpumalanga, near Pietermaritzburg.

Officers were called to the Hlongwane Road property on Tuesday.

KZN police spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says a woman at the home told officers that two men entered the house and opened fire on her 50-year-old husband and his 35-year-old guest.
"While the suspects were about to exit the premises, they shot and wounded the deceased's son on the foot.

"All the three victims were rushed to hospital where a 50-year-old male succumbed to his injuries and the other victim, who was shot on the foot, was treated and discharged, while the third victim is still critical in hospital."
