Hunt continues for inmates who escaped near Phoenix
A manhunt continues for two inmates who escaped while being transported from a Durban court to Westville prison.
It's understood three of them forced open the door of the truck before they fled into a bush along the R102 near Phoenix on Friday.

"Police have arrested one of the three awaiting trial prisoners who escaped from lawful custody on Friday,” said police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda.
"The inmates were being transported from Verulam Magistrate’s Court to Westville when they broke the door of the truck and escaped."
