Hunt continues for suspects who gunned down cop in Umlazi
Police are still hunting for the men who attacked three cops in Umlazi this week that left one of the officers dead.
The police officers were ambushed while on patrol on Monday.
It's understood two men approached the marked police vehicle and shot at the driver and passengers.
The constable who was driving died at the scene.
The second cop was injured and the third was not physically harmed.

Since then, there's been a manhunt for the assailants.
The SAPS says it's deployed maximum resources to put those responsible behind bars.
Communities in and around Umlazi have also been urged to come forward with any information that could with investigations.
The police service says in the past financial year, 33 officers have died in the line of duty.
