Hundreds march to Cato Manor police station
Updated | By Bernadette Wicks
Police say almost a thousand people have marched on the Cato Manor Police Station.

The angry crowd took to the streets this afternoon - demanding the release of a suspect that's been arrested.
They dragged rubble into the roadway and set it alight. Police used water cannon to put quell the blaze.
Lieutenant-Colonel Thulani Zwane says the crowd has now been dispersed.
"During the day today, it is alleged that a group of about 800 people from Cato Manor went to the police station - demanding that the police must release someone who was taken in for questioning for a case regarding a truck that nearly knocked someone.
