KwaZulu-Natal police say they have nabbed more than 800 suspects on charges including murder, rape and armed robbery this weekend.

Various operations were carried out in areas including KwaMashu, Umlazi and Inanda where officers followed up on tip-offs and closed in on syndicates they had been monitoring.
The SAPS launched its festive season campaign in the province on Friday.
Spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says there will be a higher police presence at public places including King Shaka International Airport where a woman, who had been on her way to Dubai, was arrested.
