Horrific crash near Mandeni kills one, injures five
One person has been killed and five injured in a multi-vehicle crash near Mandeni.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Kelsey-Jae Meyrick says four vehicles collided on the R102 on Tuesday morning.
"On arrival of paramedics, it was established that four vehicles had collided.

"Four people were found to have sustained minor injuries, and one patient sustained critical injuries. Sadly, one person was found to have sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
"Due to the nature of the critical patient's injuries, the decision was made to activate a med-evac helicopter. The patient was airlifted to hospital by the Netcare911 helicopter for further care."
