Home Affairs urge South Africans to collect IDs
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Home Affairs says it's prioritised the printing of ID documents ahead of next month's general elections.
The department's urging those who've applied for their IDs to collect them as soon as possible.
"We appeal to people who have applied to also come back and collect those IDs. Gauteng, KZN and the Eastern Cape have some of the highest uncollected IDs. This is because people come and apply and don't come back to collect," spokesperson, Siyabonga Qoza said.
