Hlabisa: Multi-Party Charter won’t impact IFP policies
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
Inkatha Freedom Party president Velenkosini Hlabisa says the party’s involvement in the Multi-Party Charter will not have an impact on any of its policies in the run-up to the elections.

The charter, which includes the DA, ActionSA, ACDP, and Freedom Front Plus, aims to unseat the ANC during next year’s general elections.
Hlabisa, addressing party's National Policy Conference in eMpangeni on Tuesday, said every vote cast for the party will go to the IFP.

Hlabisa also spoke about the state of the SOEs, saying while most of the focus is on Eskom, there's a bigger crisis unfolding at Transnet.
"Eskom and Transnet are crippling our economy even further government's failed running of Transnet is estimated to have cost the country more than R402 billion.
"Why on earth should we believe that the state will run our minds and our banks with integrity when they have run our energy and infrastructure into the ground."
