Hillcrest family shattered after missing relative found dead
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
A Hillcrest man says his family has been left shattered after his son was found dead on Wednesday night.

Forty-two-year-old Leighton Agg's family reported him missing last week Monday.
Someone spotted him two days later at Winston Park in Hillcrest. His vehicle was found abandoned in Pietermaritzburg at the weekend.
Police say their investigation led them to the Umngeni River Bridge on Ottosbluff Road where Agg's body was found floating in the water. He'd been stabbed.

His father, Frank Agg says they are still coming to terms with his death.
"It's not easy. We couldn't quite understand the motive for the killing. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of individuals that have a low value for one's life. It's a sad thing in this country. It's really bad."
He says his son was an ambitious person who travelled the world.
Police have opened a murder case and have arrested a suspect.
