A search operation is continuing for a man who disappeared while trying to cross a flooded river in Zwelisha, north of Durban.
Before Wednesday's storm rolled in, he was seen herding cows to a kraal in Palmview.

Reaction Unit South Africa's Prem Balram says the man was reportedly heading home.
He and one of the animals were swept away when heavy rains lashed the area.
"When reaction officers got to the scene, they interviewed several witnesses who explained that the cow had eventually emerged from the water and was unharmed.
"The herdsman who was not identified was swept away and has not been found since."
