Hate speech: Adam Catzavelos and SAHRC reach settlement
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Adam Catzavelos and the South African Human Rights Commission have reached a settlement in the businessman's hate speech case.
The commission lodged an application with the Equality Court in Randburg after Catzavelos recorded himself making racist remarks while holidaying on a beach in Greece last year.
The Human Rights Commission's Buang Jones says they met with Catzavelos' lawyers on Friday to discuss the settlement.
