In the video, a man identified on social media as Adam Catzavelos talks about how happy he is not to see a single black person in sight while on an overseas beach holiday.

He says: "Let me give you a weather forecast. Blue skies, beautiful day, amazing sea and not one k****** in sight. You cannot beat this."

Nedbank issued a statement saying its condemns all forms of racism after the video went viral on social media yesterday.

Furious social media users called on Nedbank to distance itself from the businessman, identified as Catzavelos.

They had linked him to the bank after searching for his credentials online. Nedbank responded by saying Catzavelos is not one of its employees. It says he took part in a Business Accelerator Programme it sponsored four years ago.
