Harry Gwala municipal officials among those accused of fraud
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
Ten people - including municipal officials - will line in the Durban Specialised Commercial Crimes Court today, on charges of fraud, corruption and money laundering.

The Hawks say five of them are officials from the Harry Gwala District Municipality.
They are accused of stealing one-point-three-million rand through the processing of false invoices for services never rendered.
The Hawks spokesperson, Hangwani Mulaudzi says they're alleged to have conspired with service providers to defraud the municipality.
"Officials from the Harry Gwala. Based on investigations, we have managed to arrest them. They will be appearing in court," he said.
