Updated | By Lauren Beukes
A KwaDukuza family is breathing a sigh of relief after their missing child was found.

The two-year-old girl disappeared in Thembeni on Tuesday.
IPSS Search and Rescue's Samantha Meyrick says their team began searching on Wednesday morning.
"Units responded to the area and after talking to witnesses, were able to narrow down the search area. Once again, with the help of the PacSys drone pilot, members were quickly able to locate the young child.

“The child has been assessed by medics on scene, and is in a stable condition. SAPS are on scene to investigate further."
A video shared by IPSS shows the child's overjoyed mother caressing her little one's cheeks as she is carried by one of the rescuers.
