Gun-toting Durban teacher could face criminal charges
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The Durban teacher who pointed a gun at her pupils for apparently being unruly could face criminal charges.
The provincial education department was flooded with complaints about the educator and began a probe.
It's alleged the woman also brandished the weapon whenever she had disagreements with her colleagues at Phambili High School in Rossburgh.

"The teacher has now been put on precautionary suspension pending disciplinary proceedings against her,” says KZN head of education Nathi Ngcobo.
“Her behaviour she has displayed is totally unacceptable in the department of education we will be looking at the possibility of opening a criminal case against her.”
