Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The 22 accused in the Durban Solid Waste tender fraud case are expected to plead at their next court appearance in Durban High Court.

The trial of former mayor Zandile Gumede and her co-accused was set to begin last month, but had to be postponed for some of them to secure legal representation.
The court heard on Thursday that accused number 15, Bongani Dlomo, his wife, Khoboso Dlomo and their company which is accused number 17 have managed to acquire private legal representation.
But the court heard their new attorney needed time to get up to speed with the case.
