Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
State prosecutors have reiterated they're ready to get the Durban Solid Waste corruption case off the ground.
Former eThekwini mayor Zandile Gumede and her 21 co-accused will line up in the Durban Magistrate's Court again on Thursday.
A pre-trial hearing's been scheduled after the matter was pushed back to today.
KZN's NPA spokesperson Natasha Kara says the State's indicated its readiness to proceed with the case.
There've been several delays, with some accused struggling to settle their legal bills being the most recent one.

"Gumede and others face several charges, including conspiracy to commit corruption, corruption, fraud, money laundering, and contravention of the Municipal Finance Management Act amounting to over R300 million."
