It is going to be a beautiful day for the Vodacom Durban
July today.

The South African Weather Service says no rain is expected.

Thousands of revellers have descended on the HollywoodBets Greyville Racecourse for Africa's greatest horse race and the province's premier social event.
Forecaster, Julius Mahlangu says the mercury will rise to about 24 degrees.
A gentle north westerly wind is also expected.
Meanwhile, KwaZulu-Natal police say more
boots will be on the ground today, as thousands flock to the Vodacom Durban
July and all its associated festivities this weekend.
Officers say plans for
this weekend had been worked on several weeks ago.

Gwala says they are working with the eThekwini's law enforcement to maintain
peace and stability.
Gwala has also cautioned attendees of today's races and
other celebrations to driver responsibly and to remain alert.
